At KP Scholars we manage numerous talent portfolios and after school programs for our K12 partners that require strong program governance—a key differentiator in ensuring a high quality outcome for the students we support. As indicated by our Community Stakeholder Model—employers, including KP Scholars, must take a long-term approach to achieving their human capital objectives. Project Managers, Portfolio Managers and Program Managers are all required for our delivery model and we take a concerted effort to develop and grow this talent. The ability to plan, develop a work breakdown structure, identify risks, manage a budget and human resources are all critical skills for front line workers at KP Scholars and many other organizations.
Our students are involved in experiential learning activities that provide an opportunity to serve as Project Managers for the community service projects available to the students in our talent portfolios and to serve as Lead Executives for after school programs with up to 25 students and a budget between $25k-$50k.
